Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 12, 2026

Our Commitment

LoadLadder is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.

What We've Implemented

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements are fully accessible via keyboard. Tab order follows logical reading flow.

Screen Reader Support

Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and live regions ensure screen readers can accurately convey page content and state changes.

High Contrast Mode

Our accessibility menu provides a high-contrast theme that exceeds WCAG AAA contrast ratios for text.

Font Scaling

Text can be scaled up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. We use relative units throughout.

Skip Links

Skip-to-content links allow keyboard users to bypass navigation and jump directly to main content.

Focus Indicators

Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements, with enhanced visibility in high-contrast mode.

Reduced Motion Support

We respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. All animations can be disabled for users who are sensitive to motion.

RTL Layout Support

Full right-to-left text direction support for Arabic, Hebrew, and other RTL languages across all 15 supported languages.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas are still being improved:

  • Some third-party embedded content (e.g., Stripe payment forms) may have accessibility limitations outside our control.
  • Complex data visualizations in the dashboard may not fully convey all data points to screen readers. Text alternatives are provided where possible.
  • PDF documents generated for carrier packets are being improved for full accessibility compliance.

Reporting Accessibility Issues

We take accessibility feedback seriously. If you encounter any barriers while using LoadLadder, please let us know so we can fix it:

Email: accessibility@loadladder.com

Response time: We aim to respond within 2 business days.

When reporting, please include the page URL, the assistive technology you are using (if applicable), and a description of the barrier you encountered.

Compliance Standards

LoadLadder aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for everyone.

Assessment & Testing

We regularly audit our platform using a combination of automated testing tools (axe-core, Lighthouse), manual testing with assistive technologies (NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS), and keyboard-only navigation testing. We conduct these assessments with every major release.
